Ryan O’Hara joins Emera New Brunswick as General Manager, replacing a retiring Rob Belliveau.
O’Hara will oversee operations, lead the Emera New Brunswick team and work closely with key stakeholders in the communities where the firm operates.
The company said he was selected for the role based on his expertise as an accomplished leader with strong technical skills, and experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
It said O’Hara brings extensive pipeline and natural gas utility experience from the senior roles he has held in construction, operations and engineering for ATCO Ltd., the largest natural gas utility in Alberta. He most recently served as ATCO’s Director of Project Engineering. Originally from New Brunswick, this role returns him home after 14 years in Alberta.
Belliveau has filled several roles with Emera for 13 years and retires this month after a transition period.
