Electricity Discussion Paper Series

The Atlantica Centre for Energy is developing a series of discussion papers on the future of electricity in Atlantic Canada during the transition to net zero in 2050. Atlantic Canada’s Electricity Future - Discussion Series aims to illustrate forecasted changes in electricity supply, demand and prices using data publicly available through the Canada Energy Regulator. The discussion papers will also help Atlantic Canadians better understand actions that governments are taking to reduce emissions and the corresponding implications.
