What is energy literacy?

Energy literacy refers to having the knowledge, skills, and understanding to make informed decisions about energy production, consumption, and its impact on the economy, environment, and society.

Energy literacy helps the Atlantica Centre for Energy bridge the gap between industry experts, policymakers, and the public—ensuring fact-based discussions about energy trade, sustainability, and future needs.
