On July 23, the three Maritime Premiers signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance Maritime Regional Electricity Co-operation and System Integration. Supported by the federal government, the provinces will evaluate opportunities for more collaboration, assess costs and benefits, and determine whether closer regional planning can deliver a more reliable, affordable and resilient electricity system for Maritimers.
